You may not think of red as a serene, calming color, but it can quiet the mind when used in a minimalist composition such as this. "Melody" is one of three paintings in the "Red Symphony" collection, and represents the thoughtfulness of composing a song. All three of these paintings merge strong shapes, long brushstrokes, creative glazing techniques, and lots of hidden colors.
About Tes Scholtz
Tes is a self-taught artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. Born into a very creative family, she has practiced art her whole life, and began working at a young age in various fields including graphic arts, mural painting, pen and ink, digital illustration, and even the culinary arts of dessert plating and cake decorating.
